I am obsessed with Pineapple Whip Floats, so naturally, when we were planning our Hawaii trip I knew we had to visit the Dole Pineapple Plantation! If you have never had a Pineapple Whip Float, I highly encourage you to try it! Once we landed in Oahu we drove straight towards the Plantation!
Admission to the Plantation Grounds is free but if to really explore the entire plantation there are some small fees. To gain access to the Pineapple Garden Maze is $8.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Children. To ride the Pineapple Express is $11.50 for Adults $9.50 for Children. They also have combo deals if you want to do both the garden and the train which is what we did. We started with the Garden Tour, as we walking around we took our time in the gardens by taking lots of photos as usual. The gardens are filled with many tropical plants such as Hibiscus, Bromeliads and Ti Leafs.
Then we hopped on the Pineapple Express. This is a train tour is about 20 mins and shows you the pineapple fields and their beautiful gardens while learning about Hawaii’s history and agriculture. Funny story while the train does not move very fast I ended up losing my had on this train ride! lol but luckily we asked on the employees that we post it on the train ride and they were able to recover it for me, Woo Hoo! The one thing we didn’t get to do was explore the Pineapple Garden Maze! (Sad face!) Even more, a reason to plan a trip back to Oahu am I right?
“There’s always money in the pineapple Stand!” lol guess the tv reference!
The one and only Dole Whip Float! My obsession lol
Did you know you can only find this at the Dole Plantation and at Disneyland and Walt Disney World?
Have you visited here before? Tell me about your experience below! Would love to know 🙂
