My Trip to BeautyCon LA

At the beggining of the month, I had the opportunity to attend Beauty Con LA 2016. This year I did a road trip to LA with my friend Laury. BeautyCon LA this year was at a different location than the past years. It was held at the LA Convention Center in Downtown LA. This space was much bigger since more people were attending

These types of conventions are great to connect with brands and content creators. I got to meet some of my favorite content creators and chat with some beauty brand that I would love to collab with in the future. A lot of people come to these conventions because they want to meet their favorite online content creator, but I saw this as an opportunity to introduce myself to a whole new audience. So, to stand out amongst all the beauty creators that were attending, Laury and I rocked a pinup style look for the event.

 Once you get inside the event, there are tons of booth with different beauty brands. I took my time walking to see what brands were where and to discover new ones that were there. The brands usually give out free samples as long as you follow them on social media, so needless to say I still got a good amount of beauty products there. One of te booths had a right light, now I am obsessed how a ring light makes my photos look I mean do you see about that lighting though?!?! lol I need a ring light like ASAP! lol

After getting all our free swag and chatting with a few news publications (they really liked my whole look and did some interviews with me) We went to the Loung area and got some drinks, it was nice because this area was section off for 21 and over.  The food they had were just food trucks. My advice is to get food before or after the convention. After the convention, we ended up going to a restaurant called Barzotto and then head to downtown Disney for drinks at Trader Sams Tiki Bar. Overall this trip was a nice little getaway to SoCal.
