Why You Should Visit the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco

I got to start the year off by visit the newly remodeled SF MOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) I highly recommend it next time you are in San Francisco

If you visit the SFMOMA I recommend going to the 5th floor where The Pop, Minimal, and Figurative Art Collection lives. I love pop art, specifically the work of Roy Lichtenstein. I love the use of the bright primary colors mixed with solid black line and the comic aspect of his paintings.

These light works were one of my favorites pieces in the collection. Colors can depict emotions just by looking at it. And it makes for some pretty neat photos.

This exhibition by Tomás Saraceno: Stillness in Motion — Cloud Cities was really neat! It is like you are in nest of wires and mirrors. The exhibition is up till May 2017, check it out while you can!

As you can tell, SFMOMA had many photo opts. I would also check out this greenery wall. Something about plants growing along the wall makes me feel like I’m in a magical enchanted location.

What a perfect set of sayings to start off 2017! My favorite that I spotted was “Be the person you want to be” That is what I will be evoking throughout the year. Which one speaks to you?
